In fact, the Surfboard can operate up to 40C (104F)  without any air conditioning.

The SurfBoard is also the ideal gift to get parents, grandparents and children all connected to the Internet.   The SurfBoard is so easy to set up.  It can be ordered with Windows XP or Linux pre-installed so that everyone can have a low-cost Internet connected device to surf the web and share information and memories using such popular websites as Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo Messenger and GMail. Large and small businesses can add low-cost thin client software such as QRDP and set up thin clients to access existing Microsoft Windows Server Edition.  The latest version of QRDP support PxE boot with Windows 2008 Server so there is no media to install on the SurfBoard.

The SurfBoard is also an ideal platform for custom projects.  The SurfBoard can be converted into a low-cost point of sale (POS).  It can also be used to drive low cost kiosks using only a low cost VGA screen, mouse or touch screen.
